Die große Besetzung mit dem Schwerpunkt Bläser setzte dabei natürlich Impulse: Big Band Jazz. Die mitwirkenden Musiker unterstützten diesen Gedanken: u.a. sind David Newman (sax., flute), Joe Newman (trumpet), Pepper Adams (bariton sax.), Junior Mance (piano), Ron Carter (bass), Kenny Burrell (guitar) und Joe Zawinul (el. piano, organ) zu hören.
