................. *************************************************************************************************** ARTIST : GRATEFUL DEAD .................. It is among the most satisfying and enduring of the Grateful Dead's studio recordings, expanding as it does on the engaging mix of country, blues, and folk materials they first coined earlier in the year with WORKINGMAN'S DEAD.The musical vision of the Dead is more sharply focused on AMERICAN BEAUTY--from the serene reflection and compassion of the opening "Box Of Rain" and the earthy mysticism of "Ripple," to the sensual rock of "Sugar Magnolia" and the anthemic proto-boogie of the closing "Truckin'." But then, every tune on AMERICAN BEAUTY has attained a classic resonance, both from decades of steady airplay, and the way the Dead seemed to continually revive these popular standards for their concert repertoire. ............... **************************************************************************************************** ................. The Grateful Dead was an American rock band formed in 1965 in Palo Alto, California.[1][2] Ranging from quintet to septet, the band is known for its unique and eclectic style, which fused elements of rock, psychedelia, experimental music, modal jazz, country, folk, bluegrass, blues, reggae, and space rock,[3][4]for live performances of lengthy instrumental jams,[5][6] and for their devoted fan base, known as "Deadheads". "Their music," writes Lenny Kaye, "touches on ground that most other groups don't even know exists."[7] These various influences were distilled into a diverse and psychedelic whole that made the Grateful Dead "the pioneering Godfathers of the jam band world".[8] The band was ranked 57th by Rolling Stone magazine in its The Greatest Artists of All Time issue.[9] The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994[10] and a recording of their May 8, 1977 performance at Cornell University's Barton Hall was added to the National Recording Registry of the Library.................. ********************************* ♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪♫ *************************************** The until-recently-defunct "Mobile Fidelity Labs" audiophile album vinyl pressings were not only analogue, audiophile masterpieces and connoisseur delights, they have become true pieces of audio history and lore. These majestic recordings received a meticulous and laborious treatment like no other recordings in the entire history of the recorded sound. They are characterized by the massively extended dynamic and frequency range, mastering from the very first generation of original master tapes, almost compulsive attention paid to the detail and integrity of the pressing, and the highest quality of the material (only the "virgin-", audiophile-grade vinyl was used, and most of the titles were pressed by RCA/Victor and/or Warner-Pioneer corporations of Japan, both known for their near-obsessive attention paid to the fine sonic detail and audio craftsmanship); a special proprietary technology was used to achieve analogue-like, warm, translucent, radiant, vivid and all-encompassing sound. To this day, many of these recordings remain unsurpassed, delivering music reproduction as close to the actual recording session as possible, without any loss of musical information inherent in the standard practice of mastering from the inferior "production" copies. EVER SINCE THE MOBILE FIDELITY SOUND LABS TEMPORARILY CLOSED IN DECEMBER OF 1999 (ONLY TO REOPEN IN 2003), THESE RECORDINGS HAVE BEEN ESCALATING IN VALUE AND DEMAND. ********************************************************************************************** DAS AMERIKANISCHE LABEL MFSL(MOBILE FIDELITY SOUND LAB) HAT IN DEN ACHTZIGER JAHREN WOHL WELTWEIT DIE BESTEN SCHALLPLATTEN (LP`S) PRODUZIERT.....IMMER IN LIZENZ NUR VON DEN ORIGINAL MASTERBÄNDERN.....UND IM HALFSPEED VERFAHREN.....IN EINEM HOCHWERTIGEN MASTERING MIT DEM BEST MÖGLICHEN EQUIPMENT .....DIE PRESSUNG ERFOLGTE IN JAPAN AUF FEINSTEM VIRGIN VINYL(SUPER HIGH DEFINITION VINYL)......DAHER DER EINZIGARTIGE KLANG DIESER AUFNAHMEN......SOMIT AUCH TEURER ALS NORMALE LP PRESSUNGEN.......MFSL-LP´s SIND UNTER SAMMLERN UND MUSIKGENIESSERN WELTWEIT SEHR BEGEHRT UND SEHR GESUCHT.......!!........ALLE LP`s BEFINDEN SICH IN DEM MFSL EIGENEN HOCHWERTIGEN ANTISTATISCHEN INNERSLEEVE UND SIND DURCH DEN MFSL EIGENEN PAPPSCHUBER ALS VERSTÄRKUNG ZUM SCHUTZ DER LP`s AUSGESTATTET...!!..... **************************************************************************************************
