************************************************************************************************** The Beatles: The Beatles Chistmas Records Apple 0602557914856 (7 x 7", Box), Die Weihnachtssingles der Fab Four waren seinerzeit nur für die Mitglieder des offiziellen Fanclubs erhältlich. Sie erschienen als Flexidiscs – überflüssig zu erwähnen, daß die noch erhaltenen Exemplare ein kleines Vermögen kosten (und man sie eigentlich heute nicht mehr abspielen sollte). In dieser Box sind sie alle im Original-Artwork enthalten, auf farbigem, aber festen Vinyl. Die Auflage war schneller vergriffen, als man "hier" schreien konnte – auch weit größere Mitwerber als wir bekamen rein gar nichts. Wir haben nun überraschend noch zwei (2) Exemplare über einen Importeur erhalten… Überteuert sicherlich, aber es ist davon auszugehen, daß die Verzinsung in wenigen Jahren beträchtlich sein wird. The Beatles' Seventh Christmas Record The Beatles’ annual holiday tradition of recording jolly Christmas messages for fan club members was an important part of the band’s relationship with their most ardent supporters, affectionately referred to by them as “Beatle People.” Spanning 1963 to 1969, The Beatles’ holiday recordings were originally pressed on flexi discs and mailed to fan club members each December. Never released beyond the fan club until now, The Beatles’ seven holiday messages have been newly pressed on a rainbow of seven-inch coloured vinyl singles for The Christmas Records box set.
