Nun gibt es von diesem Popklassiker nach diversen Wiederveröffentlichungen auch eine von Simply Vinyl. Vor allem auch deswegen, weil sie deren Meinung nach die ultimative Alan Parsons-LP ist, mit dem Hintergrund, dass Parsons unter anderem auch für den Pink Floyd Überflieger "Dark Side Of The Moon" als Toningenieur verantwortlich war. Für den hervorragenden klanglichen Eindruck kann man zwar jedes beliebige Stück heranziehen, doch so richtig beeindruckend dürfte wohl das opulente "Breakdown" mit dem großen Chor sein! Erfreulich ist auch das Hartkarton-Klappcover mit den Texten, also eine rundum tolles Reissue!...............Das zweite Album des Starproduzenten (“Dark Side Of The Moon”!) unter eigenem Namen ist ein Meilenstein elektronischer Popmusik. Die Thematik des Albums, nämlich die unausweichliche Herrschaft der Maschinen über die Menschheit, paßt natürlich bestens zu Parsons’ Klang-Visionen, die bei aller Künstlichkeit hier nie an Faszinationskraft verlieren.
