Über die musikalischen Qualitäten dieses Albums muß man wohl kaum noch ein Wort verlieren: Die klassische Deep Purple-Besetzung war während dieser drei August-Nächte des Jahres 1972 in schlicht göttlicher Form. John Lords Orgel-Effekte in "Space Truckin'", Ian Paice's Schlagzeugorgie in "The Mule", das legendäre Gesang-Gitarre-Duell, das sich Blackmore und Gillan in "Strange Kind Of Woman" lieferten – musikalisch brillanter war Hard Rock selten, mitreißender gleichfalls nicht. In den Diskussionen über das größte Rock-Livealbum überhaupt wird "Made In Japan" immer sehr weit vorne mitspielen… – Dieses DCC-Reissue glänzt erwartungsgemäß mit sehr druckvollem Mastering! ........... ********************************************************************************************** ...................
