November 2018 Advertisement Police Every Move You Make Flexible Strategien im Jubiläumspaket zum 40.: fünf Studioalben plus Raritäten-LP im Half-Speed-Mastering. Als The Police 2007 ihr 30. Jubiläum zelebrierten, drehten sie eine Ehrenrunde auf dem weltweiten Tourneeparkett. Doch schnell erreichte der gruppeninterne Disput jene Intensität wie zur Zeit der ersten Trennung – rasch legten sich die Publikums­lieblinge selbst ad acta. Zum 40. lassen die Polizisten lieber die Hardcover-Box EVERY MOVE YOU MAKE: THE STUDIO RECORDINGS für sich sprechen. Im Half-Speed-Mastering und auf 180-Gramm-Vinylen vereinen sich fünf Studioalben mit der zwölf Tracks starken Raritäten-LP FLEXIBLE STRATEGIES sowie einem 24-seitigen Foto-Booklet im LP-Format. Im Punk-Revolutionsjahr 1977 empfahlen sich die drei zwischen die Generationen geratenen Virtuosen als Brückenbauer. Nahmen Andy Summers, Stewart Co­­peland sowie Sting der Majorität doch die Angst vor Punk, New Wave, Dub und Reggae.
