Mobile Fidelity's first Beatles release. Yellow banner at the top cover "Original Master Recording" White Mo-Fi label has the Capitol C logo. Early pressings came with a posterboard fold-out insert protecting the LP. On one side is a description of Mo-Fi's background called "An Audiophile's Dream Come True!" and the other side "Superdiscs Supertapes Superstars Super Quality" Later inserts had a photo of historical-looking figures holding up Mo-Fi LPs stating "Limited Editions From the Original Masters" Some later copies have a posterboard 4 page b&w foldout insert: front cover reads "Original Master Recordings" at top with an image of a man's back looking at the cover of the Beatles' White Album Original Master Recording. Page 2 has "What Is An Original Master Recording?". Page 3 has a catalog of LPs and cassettes. Back cover has UHQR and Geo-Disc information. The LP itself is translucent (hold it up to a bright light and you can see through it) and it comes in a paper-line rice paper sleeve. Pressed in Japan. Recorded in England. © 1979 Runouts: Entire string is stamped, with the exception hand-etching of "SR/2" and the # in the following part of the string: "MFSL-1-023 - $#" (where $ is an letter that is also stamped). Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" produzierte. Ergebnis sind perfekte und harmonische Arrangements. Nicht unerwähnt bleiben dürfen natürlich "Come Together", "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" sowie "Something", die einen sehr starken Eindruck hinterlassen. ************************************************************************************************* TRACKLISTING: ......................... 1 Come Together ................... 2 Something ......................... 3 Maxwell's Silver Hammer ......................... 4 Oh! After recording LET IT BE LP, the group held on for this ambitious effort - an album that was to become their best seller. On Side One, all four Beatles contribute with John Lennon’s hard rocking COME TOGETHER and I WANT YOU SO; George Harrison’s SOMETHING; Ringo’s OCTOPUS’S GARDEN and Paul McCartney’s MAXWELL SILVER HAMMER and OH DARLING complete this first side. A series of long fragments edited together in a sweet form dominates Side Two. Songs like George Harrison’s HERE COMES THE SUN, BECAUSE, SUN KING, MEAN MR. MUSTARD, POLYTHENE PAM, CAME THROUGH THE BATHROOM WINDOW, NEVER GIVE ME YOUR MONEY, GOLDEN SLUMBERS, and the fitting end to The Beatles last cut forever - THE END have a way of taking you in, up and out. You can feel your energy level rise as you listen to these songs and when you hit the crescendo, they take you down gently. ABBEY ROAD has to be one of the great classic rock albums of all-times. This is one album that Beatles fans will want to add to their album collection as it shows what a force The Beatles were in rock and roll. *************************************************************************************************** ABBEY ROAD, recorded in the summer of 1969, was the last album recorded by the Beatles (LET IT BE was released in 1970, but recorded in early '69).The Beatles: Paul McCartney (vocals, guitar, keyboards, bass); John Lennon (vocals, guitar, keyboards); George Harrison (vocals, guitar, synthesizer); Ringo Starr (vocals, drums, percussion).Personnel: Paul McCartney (vocals, guitar, piano, bass guitar); John Lennon, George Harrison (vocals, guitar); Ringo Starr (vocals, drums); Billy Preston (organ); Mike Vickers (Moog synthesizer).Liner Note Authors: Alan Rouse; Kevin Howlett.Recording information: EMI Abbey Road Studios, London, England.Photographers: Ian MacMillan; Ian MacMillan. After the laborious disorganization and infighting that characterized early 1969's LET IT BE sessions (as famously captured on film), the fractious four were willing to let George Martin take the reins and to work with him as a cohesive unit for the much more succinct production of their (and the decade's) swan song, ABBEY ROAD. The superb performances make the album an artistic high point for all members of the group. Paul McCartney inspired the suite of songs that begins with "You Never Give Me Your Money." Often thought of as two long medleys, the songs that fill most of the second half of ABBEY ROAD segue seamlessly into one another, but are programmed as separate CD tracks. George Harrison had his first A-side on a Beatles' single ("Something"); John Lennon contributed a pair of heavy rockers ("Come Together" and "I Want You"); and Ringo Starr's "Octopus's Garden" was a favorite with children. .......................... *************************************************************************************************** ********************************* ♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪♫ *************************************** The until-recently-defunct "Mobile Fidelity Labs" audiophile album vinyl pressings were not only analogue, audiophile masterpieces and connoisseur delights, they have become true pieces of audio history and lore. These majestic recordings received a meticulous and laborious treatment like no other recordings in the entire history of the recorded sound. They are characterized by the massively extended dynamic and frequency range, mastering from the very first generation of original master tapes, almost compulsive attention paid to the detail and integrity of the pressing, and the highest quality of the material (only the "virgin-", audiophile-grade vinyl was used, and most of the titles were pressed by RCA/Victor and/or Warner-Pioneer corporations of Japan, both known for their near-obsessive attention paid to the fine sonic detail and audio craftsmanship); a special proprietary technology was used to achieve analogue-like, warm, translucent, radiant, vivid and all-encompassing sound. To this day, many of these recordings remain unsurpassed, delivering music reproduction as close to the actual recording session as possible, without any loss of musical information inherent in the standard practice of mastering from the inferior "production" copies. EVER SINCE THE MOBILE FIDELITY SOUND LABS TEMPORARILY CLOSED IN DECEMBER OF 1999 (ONLY TO REOPEN IN 2003), THESE RECORDINGS HAVE BEEN ESCALATING IN VALUE AND DEMAND. *********************************************************************************************** DAS AMERIKANISCHE LABEL MFSL(MOBILE FIDELITY SOUND LAB) HAT IN DEN ACHTZIGER JAHREN WOHL WELTWEIT DIE BESTEN SCHALLPLATTEN (LP`S) PRODUZIERT.....IMMER IN LIZENZ NUR VON DEN ORIGINAL MASTERBÄNDERN.....UND IM HALFSPEED VERFAHREN.....IN EINEM HOCHWERTIGEN MASTERING MIT DEM BEST MÖGLICHEN EQUIPMENT .....DIE PRESSUNG ERFOLGTE IN JAPAN AUF FEINSTEM VIRGIN VINYL(SUPER HIGH DEFINITION VINYL)......DAHER DER EINZIGARTIGE KLANG DIESER AUFNAHMEN......SOMIT AUCH TEURER ALS NORMALE LP PRESSUNGEN.......MFSL-LP´s SIND UNTER SAMMLERN UND MUSIKGENIESSERN WELTWEIT SEHR BEGEHRT UND SEHR GESUCHT.......!!........ALLE LP`s BEFINDEN SICH IN DEM MFSL EIGENEN HOCHWERTIGEN ANTISTATISCHEN INNERSLEEVE UND SIND DURCH DEN MFSL EIGENEN PAPPSCHUBER ALS VERSTÄRKUNG ZUM SCHUTZ DER LP`s AUSGESTATTET...!!..... **************************************************************************************************
